GTA6 launch trailer is here: Justice score, PS5 footage, out 11-19

On October 15, Rockstar released the GTA6 Launch Trailer, a roughly 90-second video captured entirely on a standard PS5. With launch on November 19 under five weeks away, this is the last major official trailer before release.

What the trailer shows

• A "simple job" gone wrong: the official synopsis has Jason and Lucia lining up an easy score that spirals out of control, dragging them into a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida.
• Jason's military past: the trailer opens with Jason working at a marina, mentioning he left the US Army and "didn't leave on the best of terms", before taking a call from Lucia — their relationship runs through the whole video.
• Lucia wears an ankle monitor: a hint that early in the story she's still under judicial supervision.
• Action everywhere: a vault heist, street chases, a low-flying biplane stunt over the beach, and a helicopter crashing into a high-rise.

Soundtrack: Justice on the score

• French electronic duo Justice is confirmed as composer of GTA6's original score.
• The trailer debuts the single "Flower in a Hurricane", featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, from the official album Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album (~34 tracks).

Key dates

• November 12: preload begins for pre-orders.
• November 19: launch on PS5 / Xbox Series X|S (PC still unannounced; expected 2027+).
